Silver City Farmers' Market

For a little slice of sensory heaven, stop by the Silver City Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings this summer and fall. The market is already warming up with delectable and sustainably-raised local produce.

Ms. Goldberg's Breakfast Burritos

Farmer's Market opens at 8:30 AM and you'd best show up early if you want some of the more popular veggies, plant starts or baked goods. For those of you that dashed out without breakfast, you can pick up a breakfast burrito from Ms. Goldberg.

Farmers Meggie and her husband operate one the most popular vegetable stands at the Farmer's Market. Before the market opens a bell rings to open sales, and eager locals were already waiting next to "Meggie's Veggies."

Barb Fila, who formerly ran "Bad Ass Barb's Bakery" here in Silver City, now sells her delectable baked goods at Farmer's Market every Saturday morning. Lasso her luscious muffins early—her scones and treats sell out fast! While you're there, try some of Barb's beautiful organic hand made soaps.

You can also find delicious goats milk and cheeses as well as fresh greens at the market. I love Eric's Spicy Garlic Chipotle goat cheese and the fresh goat milk.
